Do jobsites need hand-washing stations?
OSHA rule 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities on construction sites when workers handle paints, coatings, herbicides or other harmful contaminants. Farm crews fall under 29 CFR 1928.110, which requires one hand-wash facility for every 20 field workers within a quarter-mile walk.
Sources: OSHA 1926.51, OSHA 1928.110. Our recommendation for events: 1 station for every 2 toilets when food is served. See jobsite rentals, party and event rentals and farm crews.
Can a hand-washing station freeze in Edmond?
A hand-washing station can freeze when Edmond nights drop below 32°F, which happens most winters from December through February. Frozen water cracks pumps and stops service. In freezing weeks we add non-toxic antifreeze to the gray tank or switch you to sanitizer stands until the cold snap passes.
