Graduation Party Porta Potties: An Edmond Family's Planning Guide

How many porta potties do I need for a graduation party?

A graduation open house of 100 guests over 4 hours needs 2 standard porta potties. Open houses that run 6 hours with guests coming and going need 3. If the party shares a weekend with other grads and guests stop by several houses, plan for the peak hour, not the total guest list.

Use the porta potty calculator with your expected peak crowd. Add one hand-wash station near the food table.

When should I book for a May graduation weekend?

Book graduation party porta potties 2 to 3 weeks ahead in Edmond. Edmond's high school graduations fall within a few days of each other in May, so deluxe units with sinks often sell out first. Standard units are usually still available a week out, but not always for Saturday drops.

Need it sooner? Same-day delivery is available when you call by noon, while stock lasts.

Standard or deluxe for a graduation open house?

A deluxe flushing unit with a sink suits a dressed-up graduation open house where grandparents and family friends attend. A standard unit plus a hand-wash station is the budget choice for a backyard cookout-style party. Mixed crowds do well with one of each.

Compare deluxe flushing units and standard units.

Where should the unit go at the house?

Place the graduation party unit at the side of the driveway or the edge of the backyard, 30 to 50 feet from the food, with the door facing away from the street. Keep it off the septic drain field and away from where guests park, and mark the spot with a lawn chair before delivery day.
